2. Click Save and save the file to your Desktop.
   

3. Double-click the installer (.msi) to begin installation.
    
4. Click Next in the Welcome to ESET Smart Security/NOD32 Antivirus Setup Wizard window.
    
5. Read the End-User License Agreement, select I accept the terms in the License Agreement and click Next if you agree to the terms.
    
6. Select the check box next to I want to be a part of ESET Live Grid (recommended) and click Next.

7. In the Detection of Potentially Unwanted Applications section, select your preferred option (see What is a potentially unwanted application?) and then click Advanced settings.

8. In the Select Installation Folder window, you can select a specific installation folder, or click Next to install to the default folder.

9. In the Internet Connection window, make the appropriate selection based on the type of Internet connection that you use and click Next.
    
10. In the Automatic update window, you can configure how program component updates are delivered to your computer. By default, your ESET program will ask whether you want to update whenever program component updates are available. To modify this setting, click Change, make the appropriate selections in the Program component update and Restart after program component upgrade sections, click OK and then click Next.

11. Select your desired ESET Personal firewall mode and click Next.

12. The Password protect settings window gives you the option to define a password that must be entered to change settings in your ESET product. To do so, select the check box next to Protect configuration settings with a password. Type your desired password into the New password and Confirm new password fields and click Next.

13. We recommend that you leave the check box next to Enable scan after installation selected and click Install.

14. Click Finish.

15. If you have installed ESET Smart Security, select the appropriate network type in the New network connection detected window. Installation is now complete.
